The Cyclades Islands Complex

The Cyclades Islands Complex

Cyclades complex, the jewel of the Aegean sea.
Santorini, Mykonos, Paros, Naksos along with other 220 islands form this group of islands in the Southern middle of the Aegean Sea. Rocky islands, crystal blue waters, traditional white and blue houses are mixed together in a truly unique landscape and seascape.
During July and August the “Meltemi” blows in this area, in particular, which is ideal for true sailing lovers and more experienced captains but not recommended for relaxing family holidays and beginner skippers. Apart from the natural beauty, Cyclades are known for their nightlife. Islands like Myconos, Ios and Paros are well known for such a lifestyle.

Weather Conditions: Cyclades are a windy sailing area due to the Northern “Meletemi” summer wind which can come up to 7-8 Beaufort during July and August.

However, from May until late June winds are less strong and the same pattern exists from mid-September and onwards.

The daily average temperature in summer ranges between 27°C - 31°C.
